Marc Bergevin Makes Two Depth Trades

The Montreal Canadiens performed two depth deals. The first acquisition was acquiring forward Nicolas Deslauriers from the Buffalo Sabers in exchange for defender Zach Redmond.

The second trade saw Andreas Martinsen head to Chicago in exchange for forward Kyle Baun.

Both players will report to the Laval Rocket of the AHL. Nicolas Deslauriers has a robust style of play. The LaSalle native has appeared in 211 games, scoring 12 goals and accumulating 18 assists.

Kyle Baun will be a solid top-9 forward in the AHL for the Laval Rocket. Last season, the Toronto native accumulated 14 goals and 20 assists in 73 games for the Rockford IceHogs in the AHL.
