Tangradi And Bowman Released From The Habs

Drayson Bowman

Renaud Lavoie has reported that left-wingers Eric Tangradi and Drayson Bownman have been released from the Montreal Canadiens and are now officially unrestricted free agents.

On June 24th, it was confirmed that the Habs had submitted qualifying offers to six players, including Alex Galchenyuk and Jarred Tinordi. However, the 26 year olds had still not received a qualifying offer from the management and will now be able to try their luck on the free agent market as of July 1st.

Tangradi played seven games with the Habs last season, and forward Drayson Bowman, a third round pick of the Carolina Hurricanes in 2007, took part in three games last season.
